# Meet Intelligence: the brief you would compile yourself

> Intelligence is a frontpage TickMate builds around your positions, watchlist and theses. Keep several editions, ask what changed since yesterday, and change what it follows in plain English.

Video: The Intelligence page: TickMate is asked what changed since yesterday, answers with macro moves and the stories that touch your theses, then removes metals from the edition when asked in plain English.

Every trader has a morning routine. Open the news. Check the dollar, oil and gold. Scan the calendar. See what Reddit is excited about. Then the hard part: work out which of it matters to what you actually hold.

**Intelligence** does that compiling for you. It is a newspaper-style page that TickMate assembles from the sources it already reads, ranked on your positions, your watchlist and your theses, not on whatever is trending.

## What is on the page

- **The masthead.** A risk gauge, crypto market cap, gold, Bitcoin, the VIX and the market clock, across the top.
- **The lead and the stories.** Related items grouped into stories instead of a raw feed, each tagged with the symbols it touches and how severe it looks, and linked to the thesis it bears on.
- **This week.** The economic calendar, sorted by impact.
- **The odds.** What prediction markets are pricing for the Fed, elections and recessions, read as a macro signal.
- **The crowd.** What r/WallStreetBets and the crypto subreddits are piling into.
- **Your desk.** Your active theses and the latest finding on each.

Every story has an **Open Terminal** button that takes it straight into a conversation with TickMate.

## Editions: one page for each way you look at the market

An edition is a lens. Start one from a template (your positions, your watchlist, your theses, the world, the week's macro, or social) and keep as many as you like, as tabs. Each template weighs severity, relevance, recency and the size of a story differently. You never tune those numbers; you say what you want, and the edition follows.

## Ask it what changed

The TickMate bar sits at the bottom of the page, and it reads the edition you are on. Ask *"What changed on this page since yesterday?"* and it comes back with the macro moves since the last reading, the new stories worth your attention, and a desk note when something touches one of your theses.

In the video above, it flags a satellite report of fire hotspots in Iran against a WTI and Strait of Hormuz thesis, and says plainly that it is a geophysical read, not a confirmed strike report. That is the point: you see what it saw, and why it thinks it matters.

## Change it in plain English

*"Remove metals from this edition."* TickMate edits the edition (out go gold, silver, platinum and palladium) and the page re-renders on the new lens. Focus on a sector, keep only your positions, add a country, drop a theme: you describe it, and TickMate edits the edition for you.

## What the AI does here, and what it does not

The page is ranked by a fixed formula, not written afresh by a language model, so the same news ranks the same way every time. TickMate comes in when you ask: it reads the page, explains it, and edits the edition when you tell it to. Its answers are analysis, not investment advice, and any trade still waits for your approval.

## Where to find it

**Intelligence** in the sidebar of the web app. The same frontpage opens as a panel in the Terminal, and as a tab in the Telegram app on your phone.
